I am Romee Panchal, an AI engineer with more than nine years of experience across software engineering and data science.

I am drawn to difficult technical problems and to the equally difficult work of explaining them clearly. This blog is where I connect those interests: unpacking machine learning systems, tracing how ideas evolve, and turning practical experience into useful mental models.

I write about AI, machine learning, and engineering for practitioners who want to understand not just what works, but why. Most of the essays are attempts to make intelligent systems feel less magical and more inspectable.
